The Almighty Dollar – Make One For Someone Else

Tuesday I wrote about saving someone else a dollar. I gave you a week so you may or may not have done this already. It’s OK if you haven’t, I know you will.

Once you’ve done that we’ll try the opposite. Making someone a dollar. Imagine if you had the brilliant idea to start a website selling doggie bags. Yes, poop bags. But you would specialize in it; Colored bags, finger-fitted bags, customized bags… overall, they’d be collector’s bags. (Note: I don’t know if this exists already or not. I just know my wife would find it cute to have pink poop bags.)

Today’s Idea: Make someone else a dollar. The next time you think of an idea that could make someone money, share it. Instead of thinking “I could never do that, so forget it”, you should give the idea to someone who can. If you realize a friend owns a $15,000 car that is paid off, and they have $5,000 in debt. Suggest they sell their car, pay off their debt, and buy a $10,000 car instead. You just made them an extra $200/month (their previous debt payment).
